Hello readers! I’m delighted to take you behind the scenes of a beautiful bridal collaboration that recently took place right here in Bradford. As a wedding photographer, I am always inspired by opportunities to work alongside talented individuals who share a love for celebrating beauty, culture, and fashion. This particular project brought together an incredible team of local professionals, each contributing their unique expertise to create something truly special.
From breathtaking bridal wear and stunning jewellery to flawless hair and makeup, every detail was carefully curated to bring our creative vision to life. Not only was this collaboration a wonderful opportunity to build our portfolios, but it also allowed us to create fresh, inspiring content while showcasing the exceptional talent our local wedding industry has to offer.

Behind the scenes
The day began in Janan’s beautiful studio, where talented makeup artist Tahera was already transforming our stunning muse. Having worked with her before, I knew we were in excellent hands. Her skill, professionalism, and warm personality helped create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the shoot.
As the bridal collaboration got underway, I focused on capturing behind-the-scenes content, documenting key moments of the preparation process. Two members of the Janan team were also on hand as and when needed, creating content for their social media channels while I worked my magic.
Our muse was a pleasure to work with. Her professionalism, confidence, and natural talent shone through from the moment she stepped in front of the camera. She moved effortlessly between poses, requiring very little direction and showcasing both the bridal look and her modelling ability with ease.
Attention to detail is a huge part of my photography process, so throughout the shoot I carefully adjusted the dress, jewellery, and styling to ensure every image looked its best. With several backdrops available, I selected the ones that best complemented the outfit and overall bridal aesthetic, helping each image tell its own story. While perfection may be impossible, I always strive for it, and I believe that dedication is reflected in the final photographs.
The First Look
The first look featured this absolutely stunning red and gold bridal outfit, carefully selected by Janan [please see images above]. From the moment we saw it, it was impossible not to be impressed. Was it a showstopper? Absolutely — without a doubt!
The rich combination of red and gold creates a timeless bridal look, while the beautifully crafted border and intricate embellishments showcase exceptional attention to detail. Every element of the design reflects the skill, creativity, and dedication that went into bringing this masterpiece to life. From the delicate embroidery to the flawless finishing touches, the craftsmanship is truly remarkable.
For the makeup, Tahera created a beautiful gold and brown smoky eye paired with a soft nude lip, enhancing the muse’s natural features while perfectly complementing the bridal outfit. Soft, loose curls completed the look, allowing the bridal styling to take centre stage.
Once the beauty look was finished, Tahera helped our muse, Maariya, into the bridal outfit carefully selected by the Janan team. Every detail, including the placement of the bridal scarf, was thoughtfully styled to ensure a flawless finish. Watching the final look come together was a reminder of the creativity, teamwork, and attention to detail that goes into creating the perfect bridal vision.
The jewellery provided by The Jewellery Trunk was nothing short of stunning and played a key role in bringing the entire bridal look together. The carefully selected emerald green and gold jewellery set for the first look which added a touch of luxury and elegance, perfectly complementing the richness of the bridal outfit.
The Second Look
The second look [Please see images above] required only a few subtle changes, but the transformation was remarkable. To complement the richness of the outfit, Tahera replaced the nude lip with a deep red shade, instantly creating a more dramatic and sophisticated bridal look. The hair was also styled differently, being swept back neatly with a few strands curled in order to draw attention to the face, jewellery, and intricate details of the outfit.
For this look, Janan selected a stunning deep red two-piece bridal ensemble that exuded elegance, confidence, and regal charm. The rich colour alone made a statement, but it was the exquisite detailing and luxurious craftsmanship that truly elevated the outfit. Every element worked together beautifully, creating a look that felt fit for royalty. The deep red fabric, combined with the intricate embellishments and elegant silhouette, gave the ensemble a timeless and majestic presence.
One of the most unique features of this outfit was the addition of a separate bridal scarf designed specifically for the head, distinct from the draped fabric worn around the arms. This thoughtful design element added an extra layer of sophistication and grandeur, framing the face beautifully while enhancing the overall bridal aesthetic. The combination of flowing fabrics, rich colour tones, and detailed embellishments created a look that was both graceful and striking.
The jewellery provided by The Jewellery Trunk was absolutely exquisite and played a vital role in completing the second bridal look. This carefully selected gold jewellery set, adorned with beautiful hints of deep red detailing, complemented the bridal outfit effortlessly and enhanced its regal appeal.
